Nightward is built on open work. Everything below is used under a licence that permits commercial use, which is what makes it safe to put on a card you buy. Where a licence asks for credit, this page is that credit.

Sticker artwork — Twemoji

The colour stickers in Card Studio are Twemoji. Twemoji graphics are licensed CC-BY 4.0 (the Twemoji source code is MIT). Copyright the Twemoji contributors, originally Twitter, Inc. and other contributors.

Icons

The monochrome icon library is drawn from several open sets, all permissive:

Remix Icon — Apache 2.0
Bootstrap Icons — MIT

Brand and logo marks from these sets are deliberately excluded: they are trademarks, and trademarks do not belong on a product being sold.

Drawn here

The hand-drawn sticker pack, the decorative graphics (frames, dividers, corners, ornaments, banners, botanical and celestial motifs), every background pattern, and 23 icons in the Baby, Faith & memorial and Wedding categories were drawn for this project and are released CC0 — public domain. The packs above barely cover those subjects, which is why they exist.

Typefaces

All embedded families are under the SIL Open Font License, which permits commercial use and embedding. The remaining faces are the system fonts already on your device.

Astronomy

Star positions are computed from public-domain catalogue data and standard astronomical algorithms. No third-party sky imagery is used — every star map is drawn from the numbers.

Software

The site itself has no framework and no build step. Its only runtime dependency is Supabase, used through its public HTTP API.
